Tibetan singing bowls ring with an ancient power that is a mystery to most of us. They have their roots in the animistic/shamanic religions

of the Nepalese/Tibetan border region of the Himalayas where master craftspeople fashioned the bowls from seven or five precious metals.

This introductory workshop will be an experiential journey through the sounds of the bowls, their history and use in

meditation/relaxation, therapeutic and deep listening practices.

Attendees will learn the various techniques of making the bowls sing in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Michael and Candida have been playing and studying the bowls for 20 years. They have given concerts or recorded with Tibetologist Alain Presencer, Gongmaster, Don Conreaux and Frank Perry. They recently played for His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Foundation.

Please bring your own bowl(s) (not essential)
