Miraca play original compositions, traditional melodies, imaginative improvisations and heartfelt songs.

 

Raphael Radoux-Rogier is a creative & versatile fiddle player, singer & composer who combines his classical training

with his love of traditional music to create unique playful & colourful soundscapes. He collaborates internationally

with many musicians, actors & dancers from different traditions.

 

Michael Ormiston  is a multi-instrumentalist and Britain’s foremost Mongolian Khöömii (overtone) singer.

His voice has been used in  Hollywood films, David Attenborough’s Acclaimed wildlife series Planet Earth,

 and heard in concert by H.H. the Dalai Lama.  With Miraca, Michael plays the Morin Khuur (Mongolian horse head fiddle),

the Saz (Turkish Long necked lute) and a flat backed bouzouki.

 

Neil Foster is a versatile and talented marimbist and percussionist. Highlights of his varied career include working with

orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw and the BBC Symphony, playing drums and

bodhran on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack and miming on drums dressed as a Womble for BBC Scotland!
